Beyonce‘s 6th solo album Lemonade has gone platinum – making it her 6th consecutive effort to sell over a million copies.
This was confirmed by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in a tweet from their account on Wednesday.
According to Nielsen Music, in the album’s first week, “It sold 653,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 28″ – earning the singer her sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.
